Some Definitions

  • Door-to-Door
    • Takes place when the instructor picks you up at the start of the lessons and then drops you off at the end of the lesson at a location of your choice.

  • Motor Vehicle
    • Vehicle whose propulsion is provided by an engine or motor such as an internal combustion engine, electric motor, combination of the two - hybrid electric vehicle, or some other method.

  • Road Rage
    • Aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile. Such behavior might include rude gestures, verbal insults, deliberately driving in an unsafe or threatening manner, or making threats.

  • How do I leave feedback?
    • Well that depends.  Do you wish to leave feedback for Driving School USA, or do you simply want to rate your experience with one of the schools that you have worked with?  We are always willing to improve, and if you have any suggestions or complaints, we will gladly hear from you on our feedback page.  To rate your experience with your driving school, simply log into your account, find the school in question in the list of your schools and click on the rate us button.

  • How do I register?
    • Registration is simple!  Just click on the register button in the main menu and follow simple steps to becoming a free member of Driving School USA.  Yes, once again, registration is absolutely free.  After you register you will be able to schedule classes online, pay for your driving lessons and much more.  The benefits also include ability to take full practice tests with grading and saving your scores.

  • What are requirements for learner's permit?
    • Minimum age for applicants is 15 years and 9 months.  If the student is under 18 years, his or her parent must co-sign the learner's permit application.  Applicant must then pass all required tests.

I have a learner's permit, can I drive now?

  1. Learner's permit holders must be accompanied by a supervising driver who is 21 years or older and has held a license for a minimum of 3 years.  The person must be seared beside the new driver at all times.
